An early frustration over the inability to properly translate thoughts into words, Ole found a more satisfying solution in drawing them out. He went on to study illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design and although his first game-making experience lay in Adobe Flash experiments during childhood, a job at the Walt Disney Company played out to be the first game related professional insight. After returning to Germany and prior to Harold Halibut he was working as an animator and illustrator for Time Inc., Vice Media and German state television amongst others. Together with his friends Fabian Preuschoff, Daniel Beckmann and Onat Hekimoglu, he founded the indie studio Slow Bros. in 2015 and is currently working on the Studio’s first full length game „Harold Halibut“

SLOW BROS. is a small indie studio based in Germany dedicated to thoughtfully bridging analogue and digital worlds in the form of interactive experiences.The studio was founded in 2015 by long time friends Ole Tillmann, Fabian Preuschoff, Daniel Beckmann and Onat Hekimoglu. The studio members’ diverse backgrounds, including video game production, film making, carpentry, apparel, and illustration, give them a unique skill set with various applications.They range from games, over VR-experiences to art installations. Currently the studio is working on their first full-length video game „Harold Halibut - A Handmade Adventure Game“.
