Description:
Quantum computers are not science fiction. They are not just for scientists to use for complex problems. They are here, now. And we can use them to make games! I'll discuss how simple games can be made using quantum devices, and how quantum phenomena can be used to implement interesting new game mechanics. I'll show you how you can write quantum programs and run them on an existing prototype device. And I'll do it all in 20 minutes! Note: Advanced knowlede of quantum mechanics is not required. A couple of episodes of 'The Big Bang Theory' should suffice.
