Necessities and challenges of regional developer communities - the developers perspective

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Helsinki, New York, Copenhagen, Montreal - what makes a great developer community and what are the daily challenges developers are facing nonetheless? How does the community feeling relate to everyday work? Which role play local hubs, institutions and initiatives? Which formats of formal and informal gatherings work and which don´t? In general: What makes a community great - and what are the challenges faced working and living in a certain place? These are some of the questions the panel will discuss about in dialog with the audience.

Take-Away: the purpose of this panel is to discuss how regional developer communities developed, what keeps them going and which challenges are faced at each of our communities from a game developers perspective. Potentially every developer can relate their own situation to this and take inspiration for their own communities home.
